When staying at home is the right next step, Silvergate helps families explore support through contracted partner agencies. We help you compare choices and coordinate next steps as needs change. Care is delivered by the partner agency, not by Silvergate caregivers.
We begin with the help your loved one needs, your preferred schedule, location and budget. Depending on the provider and care needs, options may include personal care, companionship, meal preparation, transportation or respite for family caregivers.
If the current arrangement is no longer a good fit, we can help explore a different partner agency. Any change depends on your agreement, provider availability and applicable service terms. You do not have to navigate that conversation without guidance.
When care needs, location and partner availability allow, we can help arrange same-day care. Tell us early if timing is urgent. Care costs, scheduling requirements and agreements vary by provider.
Have long-term care insurance? We can help you understand the questions to ask about using your existing policy. If staying home is no longer the right fit, our senior living placement guidance remains available.
